Application for Course Transfer Credits

Guide to completing a Rome Art Program course transfer credit application:

  1. You must first apply and be offered a place on Rome Art Program (RAP), confirm acceptance of RAP session, and pay course deposit.
  2. Prior to your study with RAP, contact your Home School and confirm you’re applying for RAP course credits. Provide RAP with an administrator email address at Home School, and RAP will send a copy of our syllabus directly to the Home School for review.
  3. After the syllabus has been reviewed, your home school or institution will need to confirm how many course credits you will anticipate to receive for your RAP session. *Please note: RAP does not award the credits directly, we send our evaluations to your home school. Your home school then awards your credits, and will charge an additional processing fee.
  4. Students need to pay for any anticipated course credits prior to distribution of RAP evaluations to the Home School.
  5. Upon request from the Home School, and receipt of payment from the student, the evaluation will be emailed to your Home School in 10 days, after a student completes their study in Rome. Course Credit processing time is 14 business days. *If your Home School requires original transcripts to be sent by mail; additional certified mailing cost is $50.

RAP charges a processing fee of $50 per credit hour awarded. (i.e. if you are approved for the transfer of our Drawing course in place of a 4-credit course at your home institution, RAP processing fees will be $200.00)

*If you are unable to establish course transfer credit with your home college prior to the start of your session, RAP may be able to help process course credits retrospectively for an additional fee.*
